I Want My Wallet Back!

Just a few days before Christmas I went to Wal-Mart to do little last-minute shopping; I got the items needed; paid for them and went home.  A couple of hours later I decided to pick up lunch; I had my niece with me and when we got to the restaurant I reached for my wallet and realized it was not there.  I told my niece we needed to back home and got my wallet (thinking I had left it there).  When we got home I could not find my wallet.  We called Wal-Mart to see if anyone had turned in a wallet, after checking they came back and said that no wallets had been turned in.  I decided to go Wal-Mart and retrace my steps to see if I could find it.  After retracing my steps I decided to check inside to see if anyone had turned it in yet.   At the customer service desk I spoke to the person whom we spoke to over the phone, she reconfirmed that my wallet was not in the lost and found drawer.  After that she spoke to her supervisor and asked him to come and check if my wallet was in the safe, he looked in the safe and even looked in the drawer again; there was no wallet.  I thanked both of them and went back home.

When I got home I looked again and called my bank and put a hold on Credit Cards until it was found or confirmed lost.   We started praying for my wallet to be found, I had a similar incident in Bangkok where my Passport was stolen, we prayed and we asked God for my passport to be returned.  We decided to pray and ask God for my wallet as we did for the passport and commanded the thief (if there was one) to turn my wallet in it.  I told God I wanted my wallet back.

Later that day I was out again, I stopped by Wal-Mart (a third trip of the day) to see if my wallet had been turned in.   I went to the customer service desk; this time there was a different person behind the deck.   I described my wallet and asked if it had been returned.  She looked in the lost and found drawer and there were no wallets there.  She volunteered to call a supervisor to see if there was anything in the safe.  There was a different supervisor working now and I explained what I was looking for and described it to her.  She went to her office checked, came back, and said there were no wallets in the safe. She asked the other lady behind the desk if she had looked in the L&F drawer, the lady told the supervisor that she had looked and there were no wallets at all in the drawer.   The supervisor decided to check herself; she opened the drawer and pulled out my wallet.   The look of surprise of the lady behind the desk was incredible.  Three different people including two supervisors looked in the same drawer and had not found any wallets.

Because we are God’s children, when we cry to Him He listens and acts.  God loves us and likes to do things for us even as simple as getting our wallets back.  That is the God we serve, remember He calls us friends and friends do stuff like that!   John 15:15  No longer do I call you servants, for a servant, does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

If you or your family members do not know Jesus, remember Jesus died for everyone and made it simple, just call on the name of Jesus and you shall be saved. Then, you will be in Heaven with all other believers and you will not experience the second death of the unbelievers!

Please pass this on to family and friends, especially those who don’t know Jesus!
