That is an easy question to answer:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:13)
God loves us (everyone) so much, God gave us His only Son to not only die for us to take all our sins, so we might have eternal life with Him in heaven.
Only God and Jesus were capable to do this because Jesus knew no sin, Jesus took on all sins for you and me!
Only God that loves you would do this and Jesus with a selfless act of sacrifice for us.
If you don’t know Jesus, Jesus died for everyone and made it simple, just call on the name of Jesus and you will be saved.
